The Corner Community Storytelling

LA Arts is pleased to host “The Corner,” an evening of community storytelling, organized by Community Plate.  Come tell, come listen!

This is a free community event for storytellers and story listeners. 

November Story Theme: "Oh, De-ah!" November is hunting season in Maine, and we're on the hunt for your favorite stories that involve Maine wildlife: deer, bears, raccoons, possums, owls, squirrels, chipmunks, you name it, we've all crossed paths with the denizens of the Maine woods at one time or another.

"Oh, De-ah!" is what you might say about any animal encounter gone wrong, but also about an unwelcome surprise or unexpected happening. And of course, it's also how we Mainers address a loved one out of affection or exasperation. So think about the last time you might have exclaimed, "Oh, De-ah!", come to The Corner, and do tell!*
