The Auburn Public Library in partnership with Lunder-Dineen Health Education Alliance of Maine is offering a free workshop on oral health on Wednesday, March 25 at 11 AM in the Androscoggin Community Room at the Auburn Public Library.
This fun and hands-on workshop is a great way to explore good oral health habits and learn about other simple ways to stay healthy. Oral health is more than having a nice smile. Daily oral care keeps teeth and gums healthy. It can also prevent more costly interventions.
Older adults have greater health risks when oral care is overlooked. Dry mouth, tooth decay, gum disease and pain don't have to be part of getting older. Participants will receive free oral hygiene kits and walk away with more knowledge on how their oral health is connected to the health of their heart, brain, and body. Registration is required.
To register, contact the Auburn Public Library at 207-333-6640 ext. 4.
