Join the artists, project partners, community participants, and special guests for the public unveiling of Forget ME Not: A Collective, Community Art Project Made in Response to October 25, 2023. 

Opening Reception: Friday, November 7, 6-9 PM Public Remarks at 7 PM 

Free and open to the public. Two years after the mass shooting that sent waves of shock and grief through the state of Maine, the communities of Lewiston, Auburn, Lisbon, and the surrounding areas are still learning what it means to live with the long-term impact of collective trauma—and how to make room for beauty and hope for the future in a way that honors the pain. 

For over 175 members of the community, that process has included participation in The Forget ME Not Project, a collaborative community arts and healing project culminating in the creation of a large-scale sculptural installation experience.
