Join the LA Metro Chamber for its first-ever pitch competition event — First Flight: An Idea Pitch Event.

Every great flight starts with an idea. Pitch bold. Fly high.

Inspired by the innovation, creativity, and determination of the Wright Brothers, First Flight is designed to spotlight entrepreneurs, dreamers, creators, problem-solvers, and community changemakers ready to launch their next big idea.

A pitch event is an opportunity for individuals to present an idea, product, service, project, or solution in a short and engaging format. Pitch events are designed to help participants:

• Gain funding or prizes
• Build awareness for an idea
• Receive feedback
• Attract supporters, customers, or partners
• Showcase innovation and creativity

Whether your idea is for a business, community initiative, invention, creative concept, or program, this event is all about sharing bold ideas and helping them take flight.

To enter, participants are asked to submit a 1-minute video pitch answering the following questions:

• What is your idea?
• What problem does it solve?
• Who is it for?
• What would help it take flight?

On August 6, the top 12 finalists will take the stage for an exciting live pitch night. Finalists will present their ideas live in front of judges and attendees — no desk required, just passion, creativity, and vision.

The event will feature:

• 12 total finalists
• 4 finalists in each category
• 1 winner per category
• Cash prizes awarded to each category winner
