#MorningWalks: She Made Me Do It.
This presentation, guided by photography, will look at the relationship between personal health, mindfulness, and engaged employees. We will explore the impact on workplace culture and how that will impact recruitment and retention. Participants will leave the workshop with specific strategies for their own personal and workplace health as well as strategies to incorporate into their workplace to build a more engaged and mindful workforce.
Mary Kozicki LaFontaine, Regional Director of Southern Career Centers
Mary Kozicki LaFontaine, Regional Director of the Southern CareerCenters, has over twenty-five years’ experience in the private and public sectors; prior to her current position, she managed the Lewiston CareerCenter. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a Masters in Adult Education from the University of Southern Maine.
Mary’s work experiences are broad but she most enjoys working with businesses on their recruitment, retention and training strategies.
HR Thursdays are presented in partnership with the LA Metro Chamber, Central Maine Human Resource Association and the Lewiston CareerCenter and offer employers resources and tools to help gain a competitive edge. Presenters will share best practices to businesses owners, HR staff and hiring managers in order to create meaningful recruitment, training, and retention strategies. HR Thursdays allow participants, whether employers of one employee or 1500, gain information needed to survive the labor shortage while giving tangible, and usable, tools and resources.
