Bullying in the Workplace
The Center for Workforce & Professional Development at Central Maine Community College (CMCC) will offer a course on how to deal with bullying in the workplace on Thursday, September 5 and 19 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The course will provide education and guidance on how to create an environment of zero tolerance for bullying. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to: identify the different types of bullying that can occur in the workplace environment; describe the difference between a tolerable environment versus a zero tolerance environment; demonstrate a zero tolerance perspective towards bullying; and how to generate ideas towards improving their surroundings to create an environment of change and acceptance.
