About Us

LA Arts is the designated local arts agency (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) for Lewiston Auburn whose mission is to inspire and engage a vibrant community through arts and culture. Celebrating its 40th year in service to the region, LA Arts offers innovative and recognized programs which emphasize cross sector advocacy and partnership building. The organization fosters community engagement and participation in artistic events which positively impacts the aesthetics of the cities, and contributes to the creative economy. It works to build the next generation of art learners and appreciators through its Arts in Education programs, and seeks to pioneer and support new initiatives which offer accessible arts opportunities for all.
