About Us

Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice (AHCH) is an independent, nonprofit agency providing skilled home care, supportive care, hospice care, and Lifeline personal response services for residents of more than 100 central and western Maine communities. In 2007, our home-based care services helped nearly 8,400 patients and their families achieve their goals for health, independence, and quality of life. The agency proudly opened Maine's first inpatient hospice facility in November 2005. Generous community and donor support makes it possible for us to provide skilled care to patients and families regardless of their ability to pay. Gifts to the AHCH Foundation are welcome at any time. AHCH meets all state home care, hospice and licensing standards and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
