Introduction to Phlebotomy Techniques
The Center for Workforce & Professional Development at Central Maine Community College will be offering an Introduction to Phlebotomy Techniques course on Wednesday evenings, 5:00 – 8:30 p.m., September 26 to December 12. This course is designed to teach participants both the theory and practical skills in phlebotomy. By the end of the course, participants will have covered topics such as health and safety, how to perform various draws, troubleshooting difficult draws, and the practical skills needed by professional phlebotomists. By the end of the course, participants will have acquired the number of hours required to take the National Healthcareer Association exam.
